Boy troubles please help me?

right well , there is this boy that i am currently dating, and just started dating a couple of days ago. ive heard he is quite a player but he said to me that he wouldnt do that to me, i have also heard that he uses girls, but he said to me that i dont need to do anything i dont want to .. he also has told his pals personal things that happened, but i am going to talk to him tonight but still should i trust him?! all he wants to do is hug and kiss me all the time, its so cute.!
