How could George Romney have been President since he was born in Mexico?

Mitt's father, George Romney, was Nixon's head of HUD in the early 70's. George ran for President until he came back from a visit to Vietnam and said we had all been "brainwashed" about the war. People thought he was nuts. George was born in Mexico where his father escaped to so he could practice polygamy freely cause it was illegal in the USA.
