Why does he never txt me first??? 10 pts?

it ALWAYS seems like im txting him first!!! we've been txting for 4 weeks now and im pretty sure he likes me since we've kissed and stuff and hung out twice. before we used to txt eachother 24/7 late into the night and all day long. hes 16 im 15 and he has a sorta job, he works for his uncle and he LOVES tennis and its summer so he plays it a whoolee ton!!! it always seems like im texting him first and i dont understand why. last week i waited and he txted me first twice and we talked everyday that week then i asked him what i was in his eyes and stuff and my friend says his answer was good cuz i made him nervouse:) but idk... ive been txting him first ever since and its been like a week since i asked him that and some days i just wouldnt txt him to see if he'd txt me HE DIDNT:( idk why its always me txting first... is he just busy this week or what??? plz help!!!!
